S7 Tool Steel Square Staking Punch
These tools are forged, sanded and finished BY HAND from beginning to end, no machining. They are approximately 6” long.
The Square Punch’s tip is 3mm, which is a standard size for most castle-nuts.
The tip of the center punch is ground to approximately 48 degrees, a tip angle you'll find on most other cold punches.
The working ends are polished and hardened to ensure a functional tool, the striking end is annealed to minimize wear on your hammer (a tooling-dedicated hammer is still recommended).
These (as are all of my tools) are finished with ZH Fabrication’s “Forge Finish” Wax, a minimal yet rust-resistant coating.
Given the nature of these being handmade, every tool will be different and unique :)
